We have developed documents and tools to make the decisions surrounding settlement easier for attorneys and their clients and to protect attorneys from potential liability traps. Our Tax Analyzer Series enable all of the affected parties to better see the tax consequences of settlement and make informed decisions. Additionally, we have drafted a Grillo Waiver that guarantees that a client has been educated about the benefits of structured settlement annuities as well as a Conflict Affidavit ensuring that the planner has no conflict of interest. These have been designed to shield plaintiff attorneys from risks inherent in settlement planning.
